du-admissions

Delhi University has issued second cut-off list for admission in undergraduate course. Candidates eligible for admission as per the second cut-off can enroll in the college from Monday to June 27. This time, the second list is a little overwhelming compared to the first list. In fact, this time, the second list has seen an average of 0.25 to 5 per cent decline in various courses. Candidates interested in watching the second cut-off can visit the official website and view the list according to each course.

Not many cut-off lists are issued

Several major colleges, including the University’s LSR, SRCC and Hindu College, did not release their second list of courses on several courses. It is being said that this is due to the filling of the seats of colleges after the first list was released on June 19. Let me tell that 70 per cent seats have been filled in some courses in many colleges, whereas for many courses, there is no room left.

DU: All seats are filled in the first cut-off, 70% admission somewhere

Even in the second list, colleges have kept cutoff practical, due to which the admissions opportunity remains intact. In the Hindu College, eight of the eight courses in science are closed. Only BSc Honors Botany can get admission upto 95%. While Lady Shriram had cut 98.75 percent of the highest BA programs in all the colleges in the first list, the second cut-off was reduced by 1 percent to 97.75 percent.

Shriram College of Commerce had cut off 98.50 per cent of the ECO Honors in the first cut off and cut cut cut of 98.25 per cent by cutting 0.25 per cent in second cutoff. Similarly, cutoff is 97.37 percent in BCom Honors.

DU: More than 11000 admissions after the first cutoff list

Seats filled after the first list

After the first list was released, more than 15,000 nominations were made in three days, which was much higher than last year. In the first cut-off list, 70 per cent of top courses in North Campus’s top colleges have been filled. There, Lady Shri Ram College has filled up to 100 per cent seats, due to which the admission will not be done through the second cut-off list.
At the same time, 75 percent of the seats in the top courses of colleges include Shri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Miranda House, Hindu College, Kirori Mal College and Hansraj College. In this way, most of the seats in the colleges will be filled up to the third cut-off list.
